MMD Tutorial -How to make a Model Smaller (Easily) by Pikadude31451 MMD Tutorial -How to make a Model Smaller (Easily) by Pikadude31451
This is a way to size models without messing up facials or physics.

This was is fairly simple, and great for preserving Facials

It should appear when loading a model - Like, right when you add the model to the editor, before it even loads to start editing

It doesnt do that for me. Do you know of any way to manually make it appear?

Are you dragging the model to the program?

The box appeared for me now. I didnt get the updated version. (And it doesnt let me drag the models to the program. It just shows a big cancel sign)And when I import the model all the clothes and features just turn white. I dont know what the deal is, but it doesnt matter.

The plug in box doesn't have an arrow beside it... ugh. I guess I should just download the Japanese version. Majority of the tutorials are in Japanese, so I might as well. Maybe I'll understand it better then.

Or it might just be the model I'm using that doesn't want me to re-size it... Idk yet, though.

The Japanese version doesn't have it, either. It might just be my terrible computer then. :sigh:

Oh! It works now! I just need to know how to save it now... I feel like I should know this, but I don't know Japanese.

You save it the same way you would a normal model: just press Ctrl+s

I found out how to save it, but then when I put it in MMD it shows up completely white.

Oh man, I hate being stupid. ;_;

I tried this with Kakomiki`s Kaai Yuki, and it messed up her finger bones?? I know I resized EVERYTHING, because the rest of her bones worked fine

Yeah! Same here. There's no arrow beside it... I'm not sure what's going on or if I just have the wrong program or didn't install it correctly. I hate being confused. :XD:

Put a - before the numbers to shrink. (-0.1 for example) it's just like the x,y,z axis positioning in MMD.

A specific part - Like the head? Well, you could separate the part you need, delete unneeded parts, perform he size change, and then add the part.

Really? I'm using version "0138". Well, I know that this also exists in the "0063" English patch. Maybe clicking around the plug in tabs and experimenting?
